Cornwall Law Society was delighted to welcome Mark Evans, President of The Law Society, to Cornwall on Thursday 20th August 2026.

It was a real privilege to have the opportunity to bring members of our legal community together with Mark, sharing perspectives on the profession and discussing some of the opportunities and challenges currently facing lawyers both here in Cornwall and across the country.

We are incredibly proud of the legal community we have here in Cornwall, and Mark’s visit provided a valuable opportunity to showcase the fantastic work taking place across the county, while ensuring that the voice of our regional profession continues to be heard at a national level.

The visit brought some really interesting and thought-provoking conversations, as well as a wonderful opportunity for our members to connect, share their experiences and discuss the future of the profession.
