on the boardsIt’s not long now until the Cornwall Law Society Charity Quiz Night – an evening of fun, friendly competition and fundraising for a fantastic local cause.

Proceeds raised will be going to Cornwall Air Ambulance, helping them continue their lifesaving work across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Cyber Security Workshop with Acronyms – 15th October 2026
The Alverton HotelCornwall Law Society, in collaboration with Acronyms and SWROCU, is delighted to invite you to an interactive Cyber Security Workshop this October.
Cyber security continues to be an important issue for law firms of all sizes, and this session is designed to provide practical, engaging insights into the threats facing businesses and individuals — with no prior technical knowledge required.

What to expect:
- The morning will include an interactive Cyber Escape Room, where attendees will work together to solve challenges, uncover threats and strengthen their cyber security awareness.
- There will also be real-world insights into cyber crime and fraud in Cornwall and beyond, alongside an opportunity to network with fellow members over tea, coffee and pastries.
- The event is open to all levels within the profession, from Partners through to members of the Junior Lawyers Division, so we would encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues across your firm.
